Writing a two voice poem instructions

With a partner choose a fairytale (cinderella, puss in boots, the frog-prince, the little mermaid).

Choose two characters with different PoVs (points of view)

HINT: a villain and a hero work very well for this

Write down two lists of things. List 1 are the things the characters disagree on. List 2 are the things the characters agree on.

Use those poems to create a two voice poem. In the poem the characters must use different word to describe the same action. The words should have the same literal meaning, but a different connotative meaning. For example, one says the tie hugs his neck while the other says it chokes him.

You and your partner will READ THE POEM TOGETHER IN FRONT OF THE CLASS on Thursday, October 17.
